The best thing for a listmaker to do in order to get lists finished and avoid anxiety is focus on one list or only a few lists at a time. The points system tempts you to make multiple 10+ item lists, leaving half a dozen of them "for later" by which time you're uninterested in them and want to do something refreshing. I'd like to see points added for length and then points added for notes, which would encourage length. I'd also appreciate it if Tom, when finished writing the site rules and netiquette, could add some example lists for new members.

I know I couldnt muster the effort to make that ancients list that you made; it is a bit of a farce that I get the same points for a 20 item list as you did for that one.....I suppose the votes system was supposed to benefit the better lists; but it really doesnt work like that.

I think the point of these 50+ Lists is that they appeal to more people than yourself. Why would it matter to anyone how many adventure films you have watched? I've updated my Academy Award Winners List with Years and Other Nominees.

Who lost out? A picture of the character!! I think there should be a crackdown on what these lists should contain. Delete my Future Releases list from up there as I don't intend to make it any good. There is primal effort when adding 50+ items to a list, to explain and expand is the real effort!

Also, help me out in figuring out order of list. I was thinking maybe most prevalent drug use to least prevalent (just a few scenes) but its so subjection. Or should i just go alphabetical, or most popular?

They're not hardcore per se, but you're making a list opposite Chibi's "Let's Get Stoned". Or you could just rename your list "Drugs"... I'm gonna have to get to hoppin' on mine! Wanted to save them for a rainy day when I didn't have much else to do as they're probably going to be 50+ lists themselves. Didn't know this thread existed, Gem.
